Position Overview
Walmart is hiring Overnight Maintenance Associates for the 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift at Supercenter and Neighborhood Market locations. You will operate industrial floor scrubbing and buffing machines, deep clean restrooms and break areas, sanitize high-touch surfaces, empty trash and compactors, and perform the thorough facility cleaning that happens exclusively during overnight hours when the store is closed or minimally trafficked.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbing machines across the entire store's hard surface flooring.
- Deep clean and sanitize all customer and associate restrooms including fixtures, mirrors, floors, and supply restocking.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the store and compact cardboard bales in the backroom baler and compactor.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces including door handles, shopping carts, checkout belt surfaces, and self-checkout screens.
- Perform seasonal deep cleaning tasks including window washing, ceiling tile replacement, and parking lot sweeping.
